And yet again, it’s Monday. I can’t complain though because my weekend was full of much needed friend time (and a little SL time)!
Friday night SL and I laid low. We ordered take out from a new place in town and watch some March Madness. Nothing super interesting.
Saturday started with a nice 4+ mile run with Mugsy. It was colder than we both expected which sucks now that it is officially spring. We both ended up having a great run. Here are our splits –
Mile 1: 9:00
Mile 2: 9:08 (hills like whoa!)
Mile 3: 8:57
Mile 4: 8:43 (downhill!)
The last .32 miles: 9:25 (the train came so we got stopped at the tracks)
I was really happy with this pace and felt like I could have run all day. Of course we could have have fun all day because we had something else on the docket for the afternoon. After stretching and meeting up with our friend Michele, we headed over to the Open House for the second Studio 13 location!
This studio is just as close to my house as their first location…win, win! The new studio will be offering Piloxing and I can’t wait to try it out. After the open house Michele, Mugsy and I parted ways (but not for long) and I did some errand running and grocery shopping. I met up with the girls (and their guys) at Michele’s house for dinner (SL was in the city at some beer fest). After dinner we were all tired and again parted ways (but again, not for long).
Sunday morning = brunch. Everyone knows that. Once again, Michele, Mugsy and I met our friend Zanna for bunch. If it looked like my weekend was centered around food and friends, it was. And it was awesome!
Post brunch SL and I looked at a couple of dumps, I mean houses, that were both in amazing neighborhoods but both needed way more work than we are able to put into them. I did however see two things I have never seen before at open house…
(Pic from my Instagram…follow me to see more fun!)
Which is weirder – Marker all over the wall or a giant paper mache ear on the wall? You tell me because I am still shocked that I saw both.
Enough reminiscing…time to think ahead to the week. My training plan for the week is as follows.
Monday: AM – Bike 12 miles / PM – R.I.P.P.E.D.
Tuesday: AM – 4+ miles / PM – Maybe Zumba, maybe Barre
Wednesday: AM – Swim 300 yards, walk 30 minutes

Friday: AM – Swim 400 yards / PM – REST!

High Low High for this week
