Friday could not have come fast enough this week. I have had a very busy week with lots of work, school and training. Thank god I had my life together this morning and was able to do my Friday morning swim without leaving half of my life at home.
My Friday Favorites this week include a little of everything but weight heavily on food because my whole life weights heavily on food!
This made my list because I love how I feel AFTER class. This class is hard…and designed to never get easier (what?!?!). I took this class for the second time Tuesday night and I plan to write a full class recap after taking it one more time if you want to read all of the dirty details. I wore my new barre socks again and still am in love with them. Be great? Don’t mind if I do!
Long stationary bike sessions require me to entertain myself. Thank you Netflix! Lately I have watched a handful of documentaries on food including Food Inc. (again), Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead, Forks Over Knives, Hungry for Change and Vegucated.
Now I don’t plan on becoming a vegan or going on a 60-day juice cleanse while driving across country but I have learned a lot and may make some tweaks to my diet.
Finding KIND Bars in my Purse when I am STARVING!
So this happened on Wednesday while I was on my way to class. Yes, I was driving when I took the picture but I was at a red light. No harm, no foul. I do not know why but all day on Wednesday I was STARVING. I could have downed a Michael Phelps amount of calories. New goal…train hard enough to be able to eat a Michael Phelps amount of calories!
I love when I don’t have too many event scheduled on weekends. Unfortunately, Saturday will not be that type of weekend day for me. I have a long run with Mugsy first thing, then a school field trip (didn’t know they had these in grad school), then a launch party then dinner for one of SL’s friends. I am exhausted just thinking about it. Hopefully Sunday will provide some R&R for this busy girl.
Hope everyone has a great Friday and a really great weekend!
