Happy Workout Wednesday! I started the day with a slooooow 25 minute walk on the treadmill followed by a 500 yard swim. My legs were a bit weary from spin and Piloxing (crossed it off my bucket list) on Monday and a 4.5 mile run yesterday. I needed a nice long swim to reboot. Speaking of working out, I am a big Sarah Fit fan and I love watching her vids on YouTube and reading her blog posts when I can. Through her videos I learned about Barry’s Bootcamp.
Barry’s Bootcamp classes include cardio and strength training in every class and there are 5 class types to choose from. From there schedule online, it looks like each weekday focuses on a particular workout:
- Monday – Arms & Abs
- Tuesday – Butt & Legs
- Wednesday – Chest, Back & Abs
- Thursday – Hard CORE Abs
- Friday, Saturday & Sunday – Full Body
I would love to take all of these classes! Any class that combines cardio and strength is a double win in my book. The price tag is a bit hefty ($28) but I am definitely going to give it a shot once my schedule clears up (i.e. I GRADUATE!!).

The Barry’s in Boston is super easy for me to get to before, during (if I can sneak away) or after work. It is also just a short walk away from one of my favorite restaurants, Marliave. Work, Barry’s, oyster happy hour…yes please!
Has anyone tried Barry’s Bootcamp? Let me know!
What else is on my bucket list?
