This week marks the final week at my current job! Wednesday will be my last official day in the office but Friday is my last official day at the company. It is bittersweet but I am really looking forward to my new adventure. I just want to keep climbing up that mountain career ladder!

This weekend was glorious, weather wise, and filled will outdoor activities. Friday night SL and I saw an Irish duo play some great music at an Irish bar. Neither of us are Irish but we know the band so we had an in. Saturday morning called for more beach yoga. It was a beautiful morning and we had a great restorative yoga class. SL had a soccer game late Saturday afternoon so Mugsy and I decided to meet up at the field for a quick run (her hubs plays on the team as well).

We took it slow and chatted the whole way. It was our first run together since the half marathon and it was nice to hit the pavement again. We covered 2.69 miles in 24:28 (9:05 min/mile). Saturday night was low key because Sunday was busy. We started the day by checking out a few houses then I was off to a bridal shower for my friend Marette. It was held at a horse farm, a first for me, but it was beautiful.

Their wedding is in August and I am really looking forward to it and SL is a groomsman!

All and all it was a great weekend but now it is back to the grind…at least until Wednesday!
