Today started with me getting my butt kicked! I love trying new workout classes and when Mugsy mentioned she was going, I hopped on board. The class was a barre bootcamp class that had me sweating from the first minute. We started with a cardio/strength section then moved to barre. After our barre work we moved to the mat for abs.
I loved this class! It was HARD and I will be sore later. Best kind of pain!
Now, on to the creation I made last night, a frosty dessert smoothie!
I wanted something cold and creamy but wasn’t in an ice cream mood. I love ice cream but I don’t keep it in the house because I would eat it every day. For a lighter but just as awesome summer treat, I came up with this gem.
Dessert Smoothie
- 1 banana, frozen*
- 1 cup Silk Unsweetened Almond Coconut Blend milk (I’ve been using this in everything lately!)
- 1 T nut butter (I used almond)
- 1.5 T Nutella (I used 1.5 HEAPING Ts)
Blend until smooth…thank me!
*Note on the frozen banana – Peel and slice the banana and put it in a baggie to freeze. My first attempt at freezing a banana didn’t go so well so I’m helping you learn from my mistakes.

Love getting new smoothie inspo. I tend to always make the same so it gets boring. Thanks for sharing!
