Hi! Happy Wednesday and I hope your week is cruising by like mine is. Today started with sleeping in but more importantly I started my week at the gym on Sunday morning which I haven’t done in a while.
As I hopped on the treadmill Sunday morning, I was trying to figure out what playlist to put on. My iTunes has at 90s playlist automatically set up so I put that on but the first bunch of songs were not great workout songs but then the list found its groove…and so did I!
And 3.32 miles later I knew I needed to my own Sweatin’ to the 90s Playlist for a future workout.
I probably had the goofiest grin on my face throughout my whole run because every song brings back some fun and funny memories. As a child of the 90s I feel obligated to share this and bring back the style and swag of the 90s!
I actually turned on this playlist on my walk to work this morning too. I usually listen to podcasts or just put my whole iTunes library on shuffle but I have been diggin’ (<– 90s word) this playlist and I just can’t get enough!
Here is a fun little breakdown of what year each sone came out:
1990
- You Make My Dreams
- Whip It
- U Can’t Touch This (I have so many memories or dancing to this with my cousins!)
- Shake Ya Ass
1992
- Fat Bottomed Girls
1993
- Whoomp! (There It Is)
1994
- Jump Around
- Another One Bites the Dust

- Pony
1997
- Dammit
- Notorious Thugs

What have you been jammin’ out to lately?
OMG, LOVE this playlist!! It’s seriously fabulous and OH SO cool!! Way to rock out!! XOXO!!
Blink-182! What a throwback. However, the Queen songs are older than that. “Another Bites the Dust” was released in 1980, I believe. :] // itsCarmen.com ☼ ☯
Re-released in the 90s though so I counted it 🙂
