Rejoice, its Thursday! We are over the hump and the weekend is in our sights! I can’t believe how quickly we are flying through April. I wanted to post my April Goals last week (on the 1st) but I was busy busy in Vegas then it just slipped my mind for a couple days. But now I am ready to get my goals down on paper out on the internet for everyone to see.
If anyone would like to volunteer to keep me personally accountable, I am taking applications. Feel free to comment below on how you would like to hold me to these goals.
April Goals
1. Study for the CPT exam
It’s official. I am taking the CPT exam through NASM and I am so excited! This is something I have been toying with for years and I decided to take the leap and just go for it. I have been reading through the text book and its brought me back to high school days taking Anatomy & Physiology (<– one of my favorite classes…shout out to Mrs. L!). I am scheduled to take the test in June so its crunch time.
I am not 100% sure what I am going to do with this certification but I would love to eventually train people one-on-one and/or teach group classes. Who knows!
2. Paint the upstairs
When we moved into our house, we had the whole downstairs painted by professionals because it was a ton of work. SL and I had originally planned to do it but quickly realized the project was over our heads. We didn’t want to pay to have them do the upstairs too because the rooms are normal shapes and sizes and we can easily do it ourselves. We just have to buckle down and do it.
3. Try 3 new workout classes
I have been solely relying on our gym basement for months now and need to crawl out from under my rock and try some new classes. Yes, I hate paying for classes but I need to pony up and get myself out there.
I still have some workout classes on my bucket list that need to be checked off so maybe I’ll start there.
There are endless things I want to accomplish in life but for this month, these are the three I am going to focus on.
Seriously, someone hold me accountable!
